Exploring the intersection of past, present, and future utilizing dynamic, thought-provoking multi-dimensional ideas.

I am a retired general medical internist who was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and I attended Saxonwold Primary School and Parktown Boys' High School for my basic education articulated in 1978. I then completed my medical training at the University of Cape Town Medical School from 1979 to1984. I immigrated to the United States in 1985 and started my training in internal medicine at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore Maryland from 1988 to 1989.
After completing my preliminary and categorical internship training at Good Samaritan Hospital I completed my Residency Training in Internal Medicine at North Well Forest Hills (formerly known as Laguardia Hospital) and was employed by Queens Long Island Medical Group from 1991 until 2007.
During the course of my life and career, I have found that when and individual participates in creating art they give themselves the ability to recover from illness and create a more meaningful and harmonious life.

I am a retired member of the American Medical Association and was previously certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. I am currently a member of the Art Students Legue of New York and the Patchogue Arts Council and have participated in numerous Art Events in the New York area.
In 2012, I participated in a Peer Learning Group for Art and Process at the MoMA and enjoyed working with other artists, viewing, discussing, and making art, including some food which we ate.
I participated as a member at the East End Arts Council and had several works such as a “a sense of the limitlessness of life,” “bravely beyond primary,” “industrial might,” “zinger,” and “insy binsy,” accepted by judges at several of the juried exhibits held by their organization.

I sold two works of art at Guild Hall's Clothesline Event on August 2, 2014. One was titled “Is elegant balance ever achieved?” and the other was titled “Bravely Beyond Primary.” I have sold several of the posters that I made for the Warde-Nasse Gallery's Modern Hearts Show at the East End Arts Council's 18th Mosaic Street Festival, and I have also sold a few limited-edition dye sublimation t-shirts based on my artistic ideas.
A graphic design titled “Transcendence” was on display at the “Embracing our Differences Event” hosted by Suffolk County College's Holocaust and Diversity Organization in 2014.

Finally, I obtained first place for a work of art titled “Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk” in the East End Arts Council's Novel Materials show, and another work of art titled Egyptian Medusa was also accepted at that show.
I received two honorable mentions for “Industrial Might” and “A Dream to Occupy Without Foreclosure,” which were submitted to the 58th South Bay Arts Show in Bellport.
“Fragments of the Past,” an assemblage, was submitted to this year's Guild Hal Member's show.
